James joined Wallwork Heat Treatment in 2014 as a chemical engineer, working across a range of projects and gradually taking on more responsibilities in both production and management. He has contributed to the aerospace department, helped set up the Newcastle site, and led the implementation of the HIP department. James is also focused on working closely with customers to ensure their requirements are met.
David has 15 years’ commercial and general management experience within HIP, heat and surface treatment businesses. Since 2015 David has been focussed on HIP, helping customers within Aerospace, Formula 1, Industrial Gas Turbine, Medical, Tooling and several other technically demanding markets, improving parts using HIP technology.
Adam re-joined Wallwork in 2025 after previously spending six years with the company as a Quality Engineer and Quality Manager at both the Bury and Cambridge facilities. In his new position, Adam will serve as Quality Manager for the Hot Isostatic Pressing Centre and the Newcastle facility. Adam is a trained metallurgist and holds an MSc in the Science & Engineering of Materials, as well as an MSc in Manufacturing Technology and Management.
Andy joined Wallwork in February 2013 as a driver at the Cambridge site before moving in to a production role in the Vacuum heat treatment and plasma nitriding department. In January 2019, Andy moved in to a technical sales role, focusing on niche markets and processes such as motorsport, plasma nitriding, vacuum heat treatment and hot isostatic pressing.
Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, James typifies the new generation of engineers that will ensure the continuing success of Wallwork. Joining us in 2019, as an engineer, he has quickly progressed to be a production / project engineer in 2023. Mainly focused on the Vacuum Carburising sector of the business – directly communicating and working with customers, processing their work to the highest standards. James is now bringing his growing experience to the Wallwork HIP Centre, with the aim of project managing in the near future.
Joining Wallwork in ’89 as a foundryman, Jonathan brings over three decades of diverse expertise across the company. With roles spanning transport, heat treatment, sales and contract review, his extensive experience underscores his invaluable contribution to various departments. His recent foray into Wallwork HIP Centre further demonstrates his adaptability and commitment to advancing the company’s capabilities.
